Stockholm-based studio completed Palladio- Strandbaden, a summerhouse located on the coast of Höganäs, Sweden. Found on , the residence displays a modest exterior and a layout that is both practical and aesthetically appealing. The concepts used by architect Andrea Palladio (Italian architect from the Xvi-th century) in his world-renowned villas from the region of Veneto, can also be observed in this small home, where the existing space is maximized, while maintaining an open design composition. Once inside, a potential visitor will surely be surprised by the ingenious layout. Structured on two communicating levels, the house features the communal areas below (ground floor entrance, kitchen, dining, living area and bathroom) and a lofted bedroom which can be accessed via a central staircase. A modern fireplace descending from the ceiling becomes the focal point of the crib, contributing to a cozy holiday atmosphere and encouraging socializing.
