designed the B House, a contemporary home for a family in Ramat HaSharon, Israel. The parents requested a layout that would allow them to keep an eye on their kids while they cook or work at home.
The designers created an open living and dining area. Glass and aluminum partitions were used to separate the couple’s home office from the living zones. The stylish kitchen was integrated into the living space, with dark materials defining its design.
A highlight of the interior is a custom white aluminum bookshelf. The eye-catching piece weighs approximately half a ton, and was built from a single unit. The shelves are placed at various angles, contributing to the dynamic living space.
“Outside, the backyard features a covered patio with a fan to help keep the space cool,” the architects say. “A simple, modern fence separates the backyard from the neighbors, with planters that will grow to create some privacy.” The backyard also features a built-in outdoor kitchen, with a sink and two burners for cooking.
