The G9 Apartment in Kiev, Ukraine, is part of ‘s portfolio. The 2,852-square-foot apartment’s rounded lines shape not only the living room and hallway walls, but also the ceiling lighting, the furnishings and the eye-catching fireplace in the middle of the room.
The sculptural element is not only a bioethanol fireplace; it also serves as a wine cellar and hides the cement support column. This extends the openness of the space, making it flexible and multipurpose. A curved sofa accompanies the Eames Lounge Chair next to the fireplace.
The residents enjoy views of the Dnieper River, Europe’s fourth-longest river. The panoramic views — not to mention the masculine bedroom — make morning here inspiring. Beyond its design, this Kiev apartment has high-tech functions managed via smartphone.
